Uganda: Mulindwa to Work With Opposition

The Fufa president Lawrence Mulindwa has said that the numerous court battles and counter accusations will not divert him from his original mission of steering Uganda's football to greater heights.

Mulindwa said this while launching his 2009/2013 manifesto at a function that took place at the Serena Hotel yesterday morning.

Mulindwa will once again sail through unchallenged at the next elective assembly in Arua after his would be challenger Godfrey Kwizera opted not to pick nominations forms.

"We are liable to mistakes but we should always ensure that we don't tamper with the game," said Mulindwa who was accompanied by at least 50 delegates.

The Fufa boss cited legal battles, debtors among the major challenges that have affected his previous four year term.

The Fufa president also promised to draw lessons from the challenges and problems and ensure all this is sorted out.

After launching his manifesto, the Fufa boss was on a plane to Lubumbashi where he would attend a Caf Competitions Committee session and also attend the champions league final between TP Mazembe and Heartland..
