THE owner of the Punyu Goup of Companies, Jairus Shikale, also known as Punyu, will be buried at his home village of Etilyasa in the Omusati Region on Saturday.
Shikale died on Sunday in the Onandjokwe Lutheran Hospital at the age of 59.
Josef Kapya Endjala of the Namibian Chamber of Commerce and Industry told The Namibian that Shikale would be buried alongside his parents in the Etilyasa cemetery. The service will be conducted in the Etilyasa ELCIN Church.
Some people had wanted Shikale to be buried at Ondangwa because he had lived there a long time, but the family did not want that.
According to the widow, Abia Shikale, there will be two memorial services.
The first will take place this afternoon at 17h00 in the Onguta ELCIN Church, and the second will be held in the Etilyasa ELCIN Church tomorrow afternoon.
