Nigeria: Anambra Knights Hail Obi on Development

Awka — Knights of the Anglican Church in Anambra State have hailed Governor Peter Obi for what they described as his massive developmental strides since assuming office, describing his administration as the best in the history of the state.

Their leader, Mr. Law Okparama, in an interactive session with the Governor after a tour of projects executed by the present administration, commended Obi for the recent handover of 43 schools to their original missionary owners, which they noted, would help raise the standard of education in the state.

According to Okparamma, the hand over of the schools would serve as a catalyst for the return of discipline to the education sector.

He, however, pleaded with the government to assist the new owners in refurbishing the schools, which conditions, he noted, had deteriorated since they were forcibly taken from the missions.
