Nairobi — With just two games remaining, who will escape the dreaded drop? Will the big boys do their opponents any favours, and where did it all go so wrong? So who will survive?
These are just but some of the questions that might be lingering on people's minds as this year's Kenyan Premier League comes to an end in two weeks.
In fact, it might even end on Saturday, depending on the Sofapaka versus Red Berets match in Nakuru. I wouldn't bet on any of the sides near the bottom winning this weekend which will mean curtains for Agrochemicals.
But won't Chemelil Sugar's head coach, Zedekiah Otieno do Henry Omino (his Agrochemical's equal) a favour just to even things up? Don't bet on it. They might be cronies out of the field, but this won't be replayed when these two sides meet on Saturday in Chemelil.
If AFC Leopards win at home to Sony Sugar they are safe. If they draw and Berets fail to win they will be safe. If they lose and Berets win by more than three goals against league leaders, Sofapaka, Leopards will fall to one place off the dreaded 14th position.
