Nairobi — Three people were on Friday killed instantly when the motorcycle they were riding on was crushed by a bus on the Bomet-Narok road.
Witnesses said the motorcycle was turning into a feeder road near Olerai Farm when the bus travelling from Kisii hit it from behind.
The two passengers and driver were crushed beyond recognition.
The bus, which was slightly damaged, landed in a ditch. When the Nation arrived at the scene, the crushed bodies were still at the scene of the accident.
Area police boss Mr Charles Okweya warned road users against flouting traffic rules."First, motorcycles are not allowed to carry more than one passenger," said the officer.
He, however, said the bus driver was likely to be charged with causing death by dangerous driving. The bodies were taken to Narok District hospital mortuary.
