Our reporter learnt that security within the airport has been tightened lately because of the numerous threats by militants and security men were baffled how the man got into the tarmac of the airport.

"When we asked him what he was looking for in the tarmac, he said he came to get a job," said a security man.

At the Airport Police Station, a policeman confirmed the incident and said the suspect is presently being interrogated.

"The police are not convinced about his explanations of why he was at the place and there are indications that he may have a psychological problem," the policeman added.

According to him, the suspect will be charged to court for 'security breach', to serve as a deterrent to others as soon as investigations are completed.
