Kampala — Former SC Villa coach Micho Sredojevic has mourned the club's long serving goalkeepers' coach Fred 'Giringi' Lukwago who passed on last Wednesday.
"It's with great shock and sadness that I have learnt about the death of a dedicated coach. To Villa as a club, the football loving Ugandans and Lukwago's family, I pray that the lord keeps you strong at this difficult moment," the Serbian said in an email.
Sredojevic, formerly with Orlando Pirates in South Africa and Yanga in Tanzania, but now with St. George in Ethiopia praised Lukwago for his good work, adding that most good goalkeepers in Uganda went through his guidance.
