Abakaliki — A Non-Governmental Organization, Sunshine foundation for the less privileged, has distributed clothes worth thousands of Naira to over 2000 less privileged children living at Umuezebi, a cluster suburb in New Haven, Enugu.

Speaking to Vanguard shortly after sharing the clothes, Chairman of the NGO, Mr. Sunshine Onyekwere, said the vision of the organization was to alleviate poverty for the less privileged, pointing out that another project it has planned to carry out was an 8-years-old deaf and dumb boy who the foundation has concluded plans to enroll in a special school for the deaf and dumb.

Onyekwere said the organisation has participated in many capacity building conferences and workshops and was recently invited by the European Union based on observation.
