President Museveni has commended Algeria for its outstanding role in matters related to promoting the African continent globally.
The remarks were made during a meeting with the outgoing Algeria's Ambassador, Mr Aziria Abdelkader at State House, Entebbe last week. The President said Algeria has trained prominent personalities in the history of Africa such as former presidents Nelson Mandela and Samora Machel.
The Ambassador expressed Algeria's pride in associating with Uganda.
"There need for Uganda and Algeria to establish a strong business partnership," Mr Abdelkader said.
