The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) will next Sunday at its International Headquarters, Gbagada, Lagos kick off the 19th edition of its Kingdom Life World Conference (KLWC) 2009. The theme of the conference is 'Unshakable Kingdom'.
According to a release signed by chairman, Conference Planning Committee, Rev. Maxwell Gbinije, the one week long conference starts with special Sunday service on November 15 with the official opening ceremony and the unveiling of the church's new identity. Topical issues that will feature during the morning session include issues on finance, relationship, health and other social issues.
Anointed men of God from different parts of the world are expected to minister in word during the eight day conference.
Other special highlights include a night with Dr. Morris Cerullo on Tuesday, graduation ceremony of the God's Army Bible College on Friday and a special praise night from 9.00 p.m till dawn. Various gospel artists from within and outside the country will be ministering during the praise night. And on Saturday, the conference will host the youth to deal with issues that are pertinent to them.
The 2009 KLWC will officially come to a close on Sunday November 22 with the Presiding Bishop and the Chief host Dr Mike Okonkwo ministering.
KLWC is an annual conference of the Ministry that brings together members and non members together to feast on the table of the Lord. It started in 1990 and has attracted anointed servants of God from around the world as well as Christians from diverse denominations especially in Nigeria and also from other African Nations, United States of America, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Philippines and Germany.
"Yearly, we have delegates from various parts of the world who are not members of the Ministry, but who have come to receive from God, and testimonies from them have been very encouraging" Rev Gbinije noted.
Notable among the Nigerian speakers are the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, of the Church of God Mission, Pastor E.A Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of Word of Life Bible Church, Dr. Felix Omobude of New Covenant Ministries and Bishop Francis Wale Oke of Sword of the Spirit Ministry.
Also from other countries we have Bishop Charles Agyin Asare from Ghana, Bishop Tudor Bismark, from Zimbabwe, Bishop Joe Imakando from Zambia, Pastor Tim Storrey, Dr. Richard Ford, Dr. Greg & Cyndi Romine, Dr. Jerry Wolcson all from the United States of America.
The conference has continued to grow on yearly basis with participants numbering between 12,000 and 40, 000 in single attendance in each service.
Themes of the Conference since it started are Walking In Dominion (1990), Let His Glory Fall (1991), Fully Committed (1992), His Holy Habitation (1993), Pure Fire (1994), Power In The Word (1995), Manifestation of the Sons (1996-1998) The Glory Is Here (1999), Signs, Wonders & Miracles (2000), Releasing The Captives (2001), In His Presence (2002), Our God Reigns (2003), It is Well (2004), Behold His Wonder(2005), El-shaddai (2006), And God Said (2007,2008) .
