If Nigerians will pray with one mind, voice and accord, God will change the leadership of the nation to ensure that god-fearing individuals who will not enslave the people are put in positions of authority so as to bring about the much needed changes in the polity.
In this vein, Nigerians have been called upon to pray more and not loss hope as this will ensure the nation's greatness.
This call was made recently in Lagos by Reverend (Dr.) A.Y Akitoye-Braimoh, president of the Patriotic Christian Leaders Forum (PCLF) at a media briefing on arrangements to host this year's edition of the soul winners' crusade.
She stated that the vision of the crusade which is scheduled to hold at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) on Friday November 13, 2009 was given over five years ago to Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbako who happens to be one of the grand patrons of the forum.
She described Odunmaku as "the Elijah of our time who is a great vessel in the propagation of Christianity and a detribalized Nigerian".
Rev. Akitoye-Braimoh stated that the PCLF shares in the vision for the winners crusade because at times like this, it is of great essence for the nation to rely the name of Jehovah God for the healing process of Nigeria which she said is in need of total cleansing and purification.
She also lamented that the nation is under a reign of terror as many people are involved criminal activities including kidnapping, rituals, unholy alliances between people of the same sex and robbery.
"The peaceful and serene atmosphere which we enjoyed in the country has disappeared. Many states are now theatres of war and hatred with the nation totally under siege", she said.
She said the crusade is a welcome development because the kingdom of hell is highly populated, and that this is the time to get souls into the kingdom of heaven as God is not interested in His people missing heaven.
The PCLF president explained that adequate arrangements have been put in place to ensure a hitch free crusade, and that the good news about the event is the interdenominational composition of both the leadership and the follower ship.
"Every Christian believer regardless of denominational affiliation is expected at this crusade as top clerics from different church organisations will minister at the service", she stated.
The notable cleric who is also the Special Assistant to the Lagos state governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola on religious matters (Christian), said for convenience and assess to the venue of the crusade, buses have been provided for those who wish to attend from all areas within Lagos and from beyond.
According to her, coordinators abound in other states such as Delta, Ekiti, Osun, Oyo and Ogun states who have been mobilised to provide transport for Christians who wish to take part in the crusade.
She also commended governor Fashola who she said has put in place necessary machinery and measures to ensure adequate security at the TBS for the programme.
She therefore called on faithful to avail themselves of the opportunity offered by the crusade to win more souls for Christ. "It is time to make a u-turn and join the soul winner's train and it is part of our Christian duties to be our brothers' keeper. Bring lost souls to the Lord and you will be heavenly rewarded", she said.
