Abuja — The Executive Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mrs. Farida Waziri, has commended the efforts of the Director General of the Nigerian Tourism Development corporation (NTDC), Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, in repositioning the tourism sector.

She made the commendation recently in Abuja, during a courtesy call on her, by the management team of NTDC, led by the DG. In her words:"We are pleased with the work you have been doing in tourism. I don't miss your programmes". She observed that Nigeria's image abroad is still on the negative side, especially the issue of scammers and disclosed that EFCC has recently created a Transaction Clearing Platform (TCP) to take the menace of 419 letters emanating from Nigeria. She further stated: "I know you are here to partner with us on the onerous task to rid the country of corruption."
