Tanzania: Mo Ibrahim Foundation to Chill Out!

On 14 November, The Mo Ibrahim Foundation will be holding a cultural celebration in Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania, in the presence of the Foundation's Board and Prize Committee members.

In addition to speeches from high profile attendees, including Dr Mo Ibrahim and Dr Salim Ahmed Salim, there will be musical performances from African superstars Emmanuel Jal, Lady Jaydee, Angelique Kidjo and Youssou N'Dour.

On 15 November, the Mo Ibrahim Foundation would host a discussion forum on issues that are key to Africa's future progress - climate justice, agriculture and food security, and regional economic integration.

The aim of the forum is to articulate shared aspirations and a common way forward around these issues. The forum will be attended and led by a range of key stakeholders, including senior leaders of the African Development Bank, the East African Community and the Millennium Challenge Corporation.
