After seeing his side beat Germany 4-3 during Tuesday's round of 16 clash at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Swiss coach, Dany Ryser says he was happy avoiding the Golden Eaglets in the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup.

"Nigeria has a very good team in this tournament. The team as host country has the backing of their home fans which makes it very difficult for any team to play and beat them,' he said.

'I don't even pray to meet Nigeria in the next three games but I won't be able to avoid them if the two of us get to the final of this tournament which I think is the best period to meet any way,' Ryser said.

He showered praises on his team for ensuring they sent Germany packing after topping their group that had a powerful football country like Brazil.

Ryser, however, picked the Group B match against Japan as the most difficult for his charges.

'We did not find solution to Japan's forays because they are very fit and fast in the game. They were very difficult to play,' the Swiss coach confessed.

He submitted that he has been handling the team since the players were in the U-15 cadre and expressed confidence in them saying he believes they can shock every body by winning the cadet World Cup.
