Denmark Odense's Nigerian forward, Peter Utaka, has taken time out of his goals scoring form in the Danish league to speak on how it all started.
Utaka who currently top the scorers in the Danish SuperLiga with 11 goals, revealed that encouragement from his family members, were largely responsible for the height he has achieved in football.
"Apart from being the fourth of the family and the youngest of the boys, I have always received encouragement from family members-my parents and my siblings most especially my big brothers Nathaniel and John have always encouraged me concentrate on my choosen profession," he stated.
Speaking further, Utaka who started playing football at a tender age for his school and local clubs before moving abroad, insists he prefers playing as a support striker.
"I play at my best just behind the top striker, but can play in all attacking positions. I have mostly been used as a right sided midfielder for the national team. However, my strength is in my ability to read a game and my dribbling skills which has endured me to my fans and team mates," Utaka sounded-off.
This weekend, Utaka will be expected to continue his goalden run against Silkeborg as Odense look forward to cart away the Danish title.
