Atim Ikpeme — This was the question on every body's lip when the musician came on stage to present an award at the Nigerian Music Video awards held over the weekend. Why? Because the musician got on stage and began laughing excitedly like a laughing jackass even more than those who were nominated. When she called the nominees for that particular award she kept saying "Oh I love this people, they are all my people, oh my girl Waje, oh Jaywon." She said this repeatedly as if people were doubting her love for them.
She kept saying "eeh" and the crowd answered back "eeh," mimicking her.
While we were trying to digest what was really the matter with her, she announced the winner of the award as Jaywon and she was so excited that she said to the other presenter, "Please hold this for me, I am so excited, oh Waje my girl, I would have loved you to win but this is a family thing." Indeed it was a family thing because the artiste was produced by Primetime Entertainment run by her brothers, Keke and ID Ogungbe.
Well as much as Kenny was excited, the artiste came on stage and spoilt her excitement by saying "I thank the organishas," and many helped her by repeating after him.
The question is didn't she teach him English since it's her family, what a dampening of Kenny's excitement.
