Nigeria: Naval Chief Canvasses Return of Schools to Missionary

Kafanchan — The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice-Admiral Iko Ibrahim, has backed the clamour for the return of former missionary Schools taken over by most Northern States Governments in the early seventies, returned to their original owners.

The President of Kagoro Secondary Old Boys Asspociation (KASSOBA), Mr. Joshua Maikori had made the call last week in Abuja.

Speaking in support of KASSOBA in Kagoro, Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, at a rather emotional re-union with his former class mate of Government Secondary School (GSS) Kagoro, during the Golden Jubilee celebration of the School. Vice-Admiral Ibrahim said he stands by that demand.

"If some other parts of the country are doing so, why not Kaduna State?", he asked. "I believe that the call is in a positive direction. It is only intended to improve on the educational system."
