Nigeria: NOA Commends Re-Introduction of Civic, Political Education in Schools

Abuja — The re-introduction and subsequent institutional endorsement of the twin -concept of Civic and Political Education in primary school and junior secondary levels by the Federal Government has been commended.

The director -general of the National Orientation Agency, (NOA), Alhaji Idi Mohammed Farouk, gave this commendation in an exclusive interview with LEADERSHIP, in Abuja. Alhaji Farouk said the institutional endorsement of this novel concept by the Federal Government is the best political legacy that the President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua administration can bequeathe to Nigeria to build a holistic secondary socialisation process for Nigerian children.
