Lagos — The 2009 edition of the Annual Chief J.K Randle Olympic Dinner has been scheduled to hold on December 8 at the MUSON Centre in Lagos with President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua as Guest of Honour. The theme of this year's Dinner is: "Unity Through Sports."
According to Bashorun J.K Randle, the Managing Director of the Nigeria Liquefied National Gas Limited (NLNG) Mr. Chima Ibeneche is expected to chair the annual event meant to honour the late Chief Randle who was the Chef-de-Mission of the Nigerian Olympic Team to the Melbourne Games, in Australia in 1956. He died shortly after the return of the team to Nigeria. He was only 47 years old.
