Abuja — Portsmouth player Nwankwo Kanu led six others that include Obafemi Martins, Osaze Odemwingie, Chidi Ordia, Greg Etafia, Yusuf Ayilla and Olufemi Ajilore to the Super Eagles camp which officially opened yesterday.

Although Coach Shaibu Amodu had stipulated yesterday as when camp will open for this weekend's clash with Kenya, it was learnt that the Glass House in Abuja acceded to the requests of most of the invited players to come in today due to club duties. A camp source disclosed last night that, "All the invited players have indicated Tuesday for their arrival.

"The request was granted as most of the players were involved in their respective clubs assignments over the weekend. So, from tomorrow (today) we are expecting a full house," revealed the Eagles camp source last night.

It was also learnt last night that the Super Eagles players are to be lodged at the same Bolton White Apartment the team opted for during their tie against Mozambique to avoid distractions.
