Abeokuta — General Overseer, of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG0, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, may have waded into the feud between former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel.
The duo were once close associates, until they went their seperate ways over undisclosed conflict.
Checks by THISDAY indicated that, the man of God had been making a subtle move to resolve the feud between the duo.
Investigation by THISDAY revealed that, Daniel who was once a close ally of Tinubu, waved the olive branch through Adeboye with a view to mending the fences between him and Tinubu.
A top Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) source who confided in THISDAY, said in politics, there was no permanent enemy, adding "Daniel and Tinubu were once very close friends, and I do not think that there is any difference between them that can not be amicably resolved, even though they belong to different political parties."
Checks however, revealed that the latest move, was at the instance of Daniel, which a top PDP source said was a welcome development, if it materialises.
Contacted on phone on the development, a top Ogun state government official who pleaded for anonymity, told THISDAY that though he was not aware if such moves were being made, but admitted that it was a welcome development, if the feud between the two political gladiators can be settled amicably.
However, if the feud between the duo is truly brokered by Adeboye, it would be a landmark resolution of bitter bickering between former friends who later became to sworn enemies.
