The Presidential Task Force for Nigeria's World Cup qualification has not impressed the Nigeria Football Federation with their flight arrangements for the World Cup tie in Kenya on Saturday.
The Task Force reserved 40 seats for the federation and the players on their chartered flight. The Federation wanted more, saying that few seats would be left for them after players would have taken their places. They have gone ahead to book their own chartered flight and would have nothing to do with that of the Task Force, a clear indication of things going awry for the two bodies.
NFF booked Chachangi while PTF will fly Arik. There are differences even before the match.Meanwhile, spokesman of the Eagles, Idah Peterside, said yesterday that theEagles will leave Abuja midnight Thursday to arrive Nairobi Friday morning.
"We sought advice from experts before we decided to jet into Nairobi, play the match and get out. That way, the high altitude weather will not have effects on the players. If it's more than probably a day, one may need to stay longer to acclimatize. But if we fly in a day before the match we will be alright with the weather, according to experts."
On the match Peterside assured Nigerians that they would do everything to win."Something tells me that we will be at the World Cup," he said.
