Kigali — AFTER losing the finals of the Hima- Makerere 10s (Bowl Category) tournament to Ugandan club Kobs, Rwanda's men national rugby team-the Silverbacks have switched their focus to the Nakuru 7s slated for November 28-29 in Kenya.
Silverbacks were trounced 14-0 in Sunday's final but the side's head coach Gerald Nsenga believes that his team can go one step better at the Nakuru 7s.
"We really showed that we can play against the big boys and there is this belief in the team that they can actually turn on the heat in Nakuru," Nsenga said.
"The Nakuru 7s will be our last shot for silverware this season and it will be good to end the season on a high."
Silverbacks, who returned Monday evening, will start training next week at Rugunga grounds.
Like the Hima-Mak 10s, the Nakuru 7s will attract teams from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
