Rwanda/Zambia: Saddou, Ouon Out of Zambia Clash

Kigali — AMAVUBI will have to negotiate their Zambia test without defenders Boubakary Saddou and Edwin Ouon.

According to reports from the national football federation (Ferwafa), Saddou, who features for Libya's Ahly Tripoli is down with fever while AEL Limassol defender Ouon has failed to shake off a nagging arm injury.

The news is a huge setback for Amavubi's head coach Branko Tucak whose job security entirely rests on this tie.

Sports and Culture minister Joseph Habineza recently made it clear that Tucak's future as Amavubi boss depend on whether he can qualify Rwanda to next year's Africa Nations Cup in Angola.

After managing a sole point from a possible 15, Amavubi need to win Saturday's tie by a two-goal margin to stand any chance of securing that elusive CAN slot.

The only relief for Tucak is that Amavubi skipper Hamad Ndikumana a.k.a Katauti, Jean Paul Lutula (Brussels FC), Louis Aniweta (Nea Salamina Famagusta) and Said Abedi Makasi joined camp yesterday.

The four have joined Olivier Karekezi (Ham Kam) and Ukraine based striker Cyril Koun Kwame, who jetted in on Sunday.
