Soccer lovers will catch the Bunnamwaya, Simba game at Nakivubo stadium for free following an agreement between football body Fufa and telecommunications company MTN.

The match has in the same vein been rescheduled from tomorrow to Saturday at the same venue.

In a communication from competitions committee secretary Moses Magogo yesterday, Fufa are using the game to evaluate the impact of having fans enter free for the Uganda Super League matches should sponsorship to compensate beneficiary shareholders be got.

"This being a trial, there are no worthwhile compensations to be made but the USLC will foot the bill for security and stadium hire and hosts Bunnamwaya have confirmed consent to zero compensation as their contribution to the test programme."

And Uganda Cranes official sponsors MTN, using their contractual rights, have agreed to promote their brand at the game and sponsor the match as well.

"They have also intensified the promotion of the match. USLC, therefore, acknowledge that MTN are the sponsors for this match," said Magogo.

"Yes, it'll be part of our prize giving function and all fans should come and enjoy the game," confirmed MTN publicist Sheila Kangwagye.
