The Uganda Amateur Boxing Federation (UABF) has summoned a 23-man team for residential training at the Lugogo.
The team was announced yesterday during a press conference at Lugogo.
The Bomber's team was selected after a month's regional and national trails ahead of the East and Central Africa Boxing Championship late this month in Rwanda and the President's Cup in Taipei, China due December 3-13.
"Jackson Asiku was one the few Bombers I idolised," said Atanus Mugerwa also a former Bombers' captain. "Am sure everyone is motivated because of Asiku's win of the IBO world title last week," he added.
"If four can impress in Rwanda, plus Ronald Serugo, that would be enough for Uganda to compete in Taipei," said Godfrey Nyakana, the UABF President.
Alex Lukwago, Nzahera Atenyi, Atanus Mugerwa, Sula Segawa, Sebastain Musaka, Herbert Mugarula, Ronald Seruma, Suliaman Geko, Matia Kulabako and Hamis Semakula were the Bombers that appeared for yesterady's morning training session.
