Banjul — The Chief justice of The Gambia, Emmanuel A. Agim has assigned the civil case involving the Arab Gambia Islamic Bank and one Monzer Jaafar, the proprietor of Aya Mini Market to Justice Emmanuel Fagbenle of the High Court to preside over the matter.
According to the statement of claims, AGIB is claiming the sum of D1,491,045.18, which the mini market proprietor is alleged to owe the bank. The bank is also claiming the sum of D150,000 as cost for legal expenses.
