Opoku Agyemang has been handed a late up into the Black Stars for the weekend's 2010 Nations Cup and World Cup qualifying match against Mali in Kumasi and an international friendly against Angola next Wednesday.
The attacker, whose inclusion increases the number of called up players to 21 becomes the seventh member of the U-20 gold winning squad named by Milovan Rajevac in his team for the match at the Baba Yara Stadium.
But he might not be the only late addition as the Ghana coach says another player could be joining the squad.
Â"We have two matches coming up so we added him up to the squad. We need to have two players for every position so that in the event of any problems, we would have a back up,Â" Rajevac said on Tuesday in Accra ahead of Ghana's first full training session.
Â"Another player could be added. We would need to see how things go.Â"
Agyemang, a player of Qatari side, Al-Wahda, has played in two games for Ghana so far in the qualifiers.
