Taifa Stars, the national soccer team, take on Yemen today in their second international friendly in Sanaa.
The teams clashed last week and drew one all in the match Taifa Stars created many scoring chances and squandered them.
Smarting from a 5-1 embarrassing demolition by the African champions, Egypt, Stars took the lead in the 67th minute through sparkling debutant John Boko before Yemen equalised a few minutes later.
Speaking to The Citizen yesterday, the Taifa Stars' head coach, Marcio Maximo said his players were in top morale and determined to win the match.
"They're getting used to away games now and I believe they will humble their hosts tomorrow (today)," the Brazilian tactician said.
"We've worked on some weaknesses and I promise they can't afford to lose this encounter," he said.
Yemen are among the top teams in the Middle East and managed to edge out Tanzania 2-1 in their last year's friendly.
