Uganda: Bus Accident Leaves Eight Dead

At least eight people have so far been confirmed dead after a tragic bus accident along the Mityana- Mubende road.

The bus, registration number UAK 515R owned by Kalita Buses was headed to the capital, Kampala from Fort portal but overturned at Kalamba, 40 kilometers from Mubende Town.

Police, which has attributed the accident to over speeding says the incident happened a few minutes to 3pm.

Police is still digging through the wreckage of the bus to retrieve more bodies. However, the number of injured is still unknown.
