Kampala — NORA Oting,the mother of the Leader of the Lords Resistance Army(LRA),Joseph Kony has died.
Gulu Resident District Commissioner (RDC),Rt.Col.Walter Ochora Odoch confirmed that the death of Nora Oting who passed away at Mulago hospital on Tuesday night.
"Its true Kony's mother died last night from Mulago hospital and I have informed the president about it .State House is preparing to bring the body to Gulu for burial and I am in touch with the family organizing the burial arrangement."Ochora said.
Ochora did not however reveal what killed the rebel leaders mother.Kony's father Cilio Obol also died some years back and was buriried in Gulu.
The Acholi Paramount Chief, Rwot David Onen Acan II also confirmed the death of the mother of the LRA leader when contacted by The New Vision on Wednesday morning.
