Somalia: MPs From Hiran Region Oppose New Islamic Administration in Central Somalia

Somalia — Hussein Haji Mohamed known as (Gagale), one of the Somali Transitional Federal parliamentarians from Hiran region in central Somalia have strongly opposed the new Islamic administration announced by the Islamic organization of Hisbul Islam in central Somalia, officials said on Wednesday.

Mr. Gagale said that Hisbul Islam organization has no rights to control Baladweyne town or the other districts in the region adding that the Islamists have not also any support from the people in the region.

On the other hand MP welcomed the dismissal of Sheikh Abdirahman Ibrahim Ma'ow, a former member of the Islamists saying that it was very good for him joining to Ahlu Sunna Waljama'a clerics.

Sheik Abdirahman Ibrahim Ma'ow was first member of the transitional government officials and lately joined the Islamic organization of Hizbul Islam. He joined rejoinded to Ahlu Sunna Waljama'a recently.

The statement of the Somali MPs from Hiran region comes as the Islamic administration of Hizbul Islam nominated new administration for the region in central Somalia.
