Lagos fans going to the Teslim Balogun today to watch the semi-final matches at the on-going Under-17 World Cup without ticket should forget that as the police have threatened to deal with such persons.

Chairman of the Security Committee of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), AIG Mohammed Abubakar told journalists Thursday in Lagos that special security arrangement has been put in place by his committee to allow only fans with tickets to come to the stadium.

I want to warn that if you don't have ticket there is no need coming to the stadium because we won't tolerate people hanging about at the stadium," he said, even as he appealed to the soccer fans at the stadium to be of good behaviour during and after the matches.

Again, let me appeal to the fans to be of good behaviour and patriotic. There should be no throwing of empty bottled water cans; they should be patient with Eaglets no matter what and continue with the support. As host, we're hosting to win," he said.

He also commended soccer loving Nigerian fans at all the venues for exhibiting good behaviours.

"I want to say so far we've not had any security problem because the fans have been well behaved and I commend them for that and I want to see same today," he added.
