THE Namibia Table Tennis Association held its annual Windhoek championships for 2009 at the SKW hall recently.
Competition was tough amongst the top ranked players in Namibia.
The battle for the singles trophy was between Melanky Farmer and Theo Beukes. Farmer won the game with a final score of 3-2.
The doubles trophy was secured by a combination of Reinhardt Stanley and Heiko Fleidl after they defeated Wulf Pinsenschaum and Bastian Huster in the finals with a score of 3-0.
The plate division between Roger Laine and Christopher Joseph was won by Laine who ousted his counterpart 2-0.
