Nigeria/Kenya: 2010 Ticket Will Be Secured in Kenya - Agu

Abuja — Super Eagles will go all out to crush their Kenyan counterparts in the do-or-die World Cup/Nations Cup qualifier and secure the ticket to the Rainbow Nation.

Expressing this optimism yesterday in an interview with Trustsports shortly before the team's departure to Kenya, Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Alloy Agu, expressed the combat-readiness of the team to demolish Kenya on their own soil.

According to him, the only result that is good and acceptable enough is to defeat the Kenyans by any goal margin possible, saying Nigeria deserves the best and the only result that is good enough for Nigerians is to come back with three points.

"Nigerians will not accept any result from us except victory in Kenya. And by the special grace of God, I believe that we can do it and will do Nigerians proud on Sunday by beating our opponents. It is equally our prayer that the other result in the Mozambique-Tunisia match favous us.

"The players we have in camp are rearing to go and know full well that they have to do everything humanly possible to put smile on the faces of football loving Nigerians. Our boys are in good shapes with no major injury worry," he said.

Speaking on the three goalkeepers, Vincent Enyeama, Dele Aiyenugba and Greg Etafia, the former Eagles goal tender said any of them is good enough to handle the task.

"The goalkeepers are in good form and there is no reason for me to worry. Anyone of them called to man the goal will be capable of doing the job very well," he added.
