Abuja — Director-General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) Dr Christopher Anyanwu said that he is determined to ensure effective electric power reforms in Nigeria.

He said this yesterday in Lagos at a workshop on electric power market rules for stakeholders, a statement from the Bureau's spokesman Mr. Chigbo Anichebe said.

Anyanwu said because of the desire to have an acceptable power reform in the country, the Bureau is seeking the best hands to help in the reform, including the design of the market rules.

He said the workshop was to increase awareness of the market rules and bring in clarity to their application and implementation.
