Somalia: Islamists Appoint New Officials for the Administration of Hiran Region

The Islamic administration of Hizbul Islam in Hiran region have appointed new officials for completing the newly nominated administration in the region in central Somalia, witnesses told Shabelle radio on Friday.

Reports say that the Islamic administration officials of Hizbul Islam held meeting in the centre of the region in Beledweyn town on Thursday afternoon for completing the administration which the group announced recently and they appointed 4 members.

Sheik Shuriye Farah, the chairman of Hisbul Islam in Hiran region had held press conference in Beledweyn town after they wrapped up their meeting saying that had confident for the members named to fulfill their duties soon.

He said there were other remained members that he said they will be appointed for the following days.

Sheik Muse Abdi Arale, the secretary of defense of Hisbul Islam and more other members who left Mogadishu were also present in yesterday's meeting and congratulated to the newly appointed members of the administration in Hiran region in central Somalia.
