The Nigerian music scene is about to witness the entrance of a new and budding artiste, Akindele Akinyemi Goodness, aka LytRule, to the Nigerian music industry. LytRule, the new kid on the music bloc, will soon roll out an 8-track album titled 'Luv Maga'. The hit track of the album, 'Luv Maga' is already making the rounds on local radio stations.
The prolific singer who classifies his style as R&B Dancehall 'Nigerian Swagger' said that he was shot into limelight when the head of the choir in his church got married and left the church. "But before she left, she said she had a revelation from God that I should lead the adult choir!" he said.
At the tender age of 9, he was groomed and mentored by his father and other music gifted members of the church, which eventually led to his assuming the position of the adult choir leader. This was indeed a turning point as it encouraged him to pursue his chosen career path vigorously.
The Mass Communication Diploma holder of the University of Lagos and native of Ibadan, Oyo State who sings about various aspects of love is not entirely new to the music industry as he has had working relationship with artistes like Lord of Ajasa, Clench, Pasto Goody Goody and a host of others.
He has also been a backup singer for some artistes during his ten- year contact with music.
The budding star intends to make a statement in Nigerian and world music scene between now and the next five years.
