Nigeria: Lower Div Club Exposes Harambee Stars for Eagles

13 November 2009

As the German coach of Kenya's Harambee Stars, Antoine Hey continues to sit in his hotel room in protest to the imposition of Auxerre of France player Daniel Oliech on him, the homers have continued to pick their pieces from the confusion.

In Hey's absence, his assistant, Twahir Muhiddin has been appointed as stand-in coach and during the week he arranged a friendly for the team against a lower division side, Karura United at the Kasarani Stadium where they are hosting the Eagles today.

Despite beating the team 5-2, The Standard of Kenya reported that the inexperienced boys exposed the Harambee Stars defence which could prove to weak to check the onslaught of the Osaze Odemwingie-inspired Eagles attack.
