Uganda: Kevin is a Hunk But My Boyfriend is Better

Kampala — Elizabeth, 21, was the 17th housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother Revolution, the M-Net reality show, last Sunday. The Tanzanian talked to Nigel Nassar about her repulsion towards romance in the house.

You rejected Kevin's advances but praised him after eviction

Sure, I rejected him; but not because he was a bad guy but because I had my boyfriend back home.

Maybe you kept Kevin for later when your guy is not looking

No! If I like a guy, I do not mind who is looking. In fact, I will make the move if I am really convinced I like him. So there was no keeping Kevin for later. Nothing romantic will happen between him and I even when he is out of the house; we shall stay just friends. Kevin is handsome, but my boyfriend is better.

Are you colour-struck? You said you date only white men and only have flings with blacks?

It is not really about colour, but the chemistry. I just find myself dating white and half-caste men. It just happens. I am not colour-struck and I have nothing against black men. I just have not met one with whom we can click.

How about those flings you have had with black men?

There is no story to tell, really; and they are not even that many.

Is your boyfriend white?

Yeah, he is. His name is T. But, like I said before, I would date a nice black man if I clicked with him; someone with just about Kevin's character.

And what was with the anger? You had lots of it, abusing housemates here and there; you almost fought with Itai!

I do not know, but I just found it happening. But I apologise to all those I offended. That house gets to you, man. Living months in the same area with the same people irritates.

You left with $2,809 (about sh4m) from your money pot. What are you going to use it for?

I will decide when I get home.
