In another development, the DRTS in collaboration with other agencies has impounded 50 commercial motorcycles within the Federal Capital City.

In a statement made available to City News yesterday, DRTS Spokesperson, Vivian Uttah said there is standing taskforce instituted by the FCT minister with the sole of evacuating accident vehicles from the federal capital city streets as well as sustaining the ban on commercial cyclists and unpainted taxis in the city.

She warned commercial cyclists not to operate in the city centre and its environs, such as Durumi, Dagba, Alaita, Galadimawa, Kuchingoro, Jabi, Utako and other places, adding that the impounded bikes have been taken to a auto pond.
