Abuja — The Nigerian Army has denied media reports of a scam by a serving general and colonel in its Post Service Home Limited.
A press statement signed by the Director of Army Public Relations Brigadier General Chris Olukolade said the army would not condone any form of indiscipline by any of its officers.
He added that appropriate corporate governance measures had been installed and now operational towards ensuring that subscribers are duly protected and benefitted in line with the objectives of the scheme.
He called on the general public not to be disturbed by the alarm raised in the article and the allegations of fraud, but continue to trust the PHL as a responsive and coordinated corporate welfare scheme.
