Kigali — Prime Minister Bernard Makuza is today slated to address the Saudi-East African Economic and Investment forum that is underway in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
According to a statement from the Premier's office, the two-day forum is an initiative from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is attended by high level government delegations and representatives from the business community from eight countries.
Besides Rwanda, other countries attending include Saudi Arabia, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, Tanzania and Uganda.
It is the first time this forum is taking place and will particularly address ways of boosting trade and investment opportunities between Saudi Arabia and the East African Countries.
Finance Minister, James Musoni and a team of experts from the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) travelled with the Prime Minister in Addis Ababa.
