Nigeria's hope for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa came alive in a dramatic turn as it came from behind to beat the Kenyan team by 3-2 in Nairobi.
In the 16th minute of the first half the Kenyan team, Harambee Stars, struck their first goal through D.Oliech while the Nigerian Super Eagles through Obafemi Martins equalized in the 62 minute of the the 2nd half and Yakubu Ayegani hit in another goal for the Eagles 3 minutes later.
However Obagaol (Obafemi Martins) sealed the game with a skillful pay at the 83rd minute giving the Super Eagles the much-needed victory that many had hoped will elude them since their play for a while had not been that encouraging.
The Super Eagle sand the Nigerian people "BIG BROTHER" in general can beat their chest that the 2010 World Cup, the first of it kind in Africa will not elude them.
