Former Eaglets coach Henry Nwosu has lauded the Golden Eaglets for their commitment and determination in the on-going FIFA U-17 World Cup in Nigeriaas he tipped them to beat Switzerland today.
Nwosu who was relieved of his job as the head coach of the Eaglets early this year, praised the team for putting up a never-say-die spirit so far in the competition.
According to him, such performance would go a long way to help the team retain the trophy if they follow the same pattern .
"So far, the team have been doing so well especially their determination. It is not over yet though. There is still more work especially in the final against Switzerland if they want to make history.
I was really impressed with their performance against Spain. With such spirit in the team, they stand a good chance of making lifting the trophy again," Nwosu said
