Abuja — Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State yesterday met with the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Vincent Ogbulafor, over the ongoing reconciliation efforts in the state.
The meeting came just as the party dismissed the report that the Chairman of the Plateau State PDP Caretaker Committee, Abu King Shuluwa, has resigned his position.
Jang who arrived PDP National Secretariat at 12:30 p.m and left at exactly 1:09 p.m declined comments on the purpose of his meeting with the national leadership of the party.
Daily Trust gathered that the deliberation was in continuation of last week's peace parley between President Umaru Yar'adua and Governor Jang.
