The recently concluded Lagos International Trade Fare provided a veritable platform for Dangote Group to introduce to the general public its recently launched range of noodles.
The launch which took place at Dangote stand witnessed a lot of activities and interest as many people who attended the trade faire was at the stand to witness the new addition to the Dangote family.
Unlike other noodles in the market, Dangote noodles, which comes in three different variants in an attractive packaging was the cynosure of all eyes as many customers and potential customers besieged the stand to have a try of the noodle that have come to redefine the shape of the noodles market in Nigeria.
Presenting the noodles at the faire, Mr. Oyetubo stated that Dangote Noodles is unique in that they are very rich in terms of their vitamin content as well as natural seasoning that comes form live chicken. Unlike competition, the seasonings are fresh and sourced locally from chicken extract which give them added advantage over others. "Dangote noodles are healthier and have higher nutritional values; their attractive superior packaging guarantee longer shelf life. Our noodles deliver value for money and are available at all times," he said.
The three variants according to him include the instant noodles, the ready-to-eat and the snack.
Also speaking at the presentation, Mr. Ibru stated that Dangote Group is committed to deliver goods and services that would serve the needs of the generality of Nigerians. He said the group has intensified its efforts at the provision of shelter, food and clothing to the teeming Nigerian masses.
In addition, he reinstated the commitment of the group to deliver quality goods and services to its teeming Nigerian consumers who have been loyal to Dangote brands over the years. He said that the noodles is one of the ways Dangote is delivering quality goods to Nigerians adding that over the years the company have served consumers through such quality products as semovita, spaghetti, cement, macaroni and recently noodles.
As part of its corporate social responsility, Dangote Group has created jobs through it subsidiaries in various segments of the Nigerian market in which it does business. Mr. Mc Dappa said the group has provided over 19, 000 jobs for Nigerian youths. He added that the three new Dangote noodles plants at Calabar, Lagos and Kano would create more jobs for many Nigerian youths who hitherto were out of jobs.
To underscore the importance of the launch at the fair, the occasion was graced by key management staff of Dangote Group as well as other prominent stakeholders.
They include the Vice President of Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alhaji Bello, Mr. Goddy Ibru, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Dangote Flour Mill Plc., Mr. Yinka Oyetubo, General manager, Dangote Noodles, Marketing Manger, Dangote Sugar, Mr. Ngozi Ngene Mr. Ngo McDappa among others.
