Tunisia: Umberto Coelho Dismissed From His Duties

Tunis — In a communiqué released on Friday, the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Physical Education has called on the Tunisian Football Federation to put an end to the duties of the technical staff of the Tunisian national team and to restructure its technical management.

The announcement was made following Tunisia's elimination from the 2010 World Cup in South Africa after its 1-0 defeat against Mozambique last week.

The communiqué also calls on the Tunisian Football Federation to designate a national committee composed of sports competencies to make practical propositions to reform Tunisian football and ensure its success within the framework of the laws in vigor and to meet the expectations of the Tunisian sports public.
