Nigeria: Ex-Director Launches Book On Abuja's Demolition

Abuja — A recently retired director with the Directorate of Technical Cooperation in Africa (DTCA), Dr Dan Ogun at the weekend launched a book on the demolition exercise that took place in the Federal Capital Territory during the era of Mallam Nasir el-Rufai as FCT minister.

Two other books, namely 'Who wanted third term' and 'Real issues in Christian marriages' were also launched to commemorate the 50th birthday of the former DTCA director.

Speaking on the book about the demolition that took place in Abuja, Dr Ogun said it looks at the legal and socio-economic perspective of the exercise.

He called on leaders to always abide by the law when carrying out activities that will affect people.

Highlights of the event were the cutting of a birthday cake by the celebrant as well as entertainment of guests that were mostly civil servants and friends to the celebrants.
