Former Ex-calibur and Bodybuilding champion in America Robert Ssebugwawo will launch his fitness campaign for sportsmen on Thursday at Sheraton Hotel. "Our athletes physiques leave a lot to be desired.
Look at the West African countries, they do work on their bodies and you can't compete favourably (against them) even with skill," said Ssebugwawo.
"A basic body weight workout generally uses exercises and interval training as a foundation, but the number of ways to workout with no equipment is endless. "We want to use this launch to cram knowledge to help as many people as possible achieve their fitness goals," the program's director added.
He explained that fitness and nutrition are not a usual bodybuilding programme and that the system is not based around bodybuilding routines and eating habits, thus getting bulky or too muscular shouldn't be an issue.
Renowned international fitness expert Suzanne Rath, from the Republic of Ireland, will give a lecture at the launch. The programme is targeted towards developing a leaner and more athletically sculptured body.
